These two brand new steel tanks had an epoxy zinc primer on them and were ready for their protective topcoat before going into service. We first blasted the weld seams and touched up a few imperfections in the steel. Then we applied a layer of Sherwin Williams Acrolon 218, an acrylic polyurethane, which is fast-drying and great for protecting surfaces from outdoor elements.

In addition to coatings and linings, Universal Blastco specializes Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers (FRP), industrial masonry using brick, block and tile, concrete restoration and other industrial corrosion services. Request your quote here, email or call 803-773-6388.
